EID-EL-FITR: APU Felicitates With Muslims, Harps on Sacrifice and Love

Ado Progressive Union (APU) has extended warmest greetings to the Muslim community in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti and across the world during this year’s Eid El- Fitr celebrations.

In a statement issued by the President General of APU, Prince Engr. Segun Famuagun FNSE, on Sunday, noted that the moth-long Ramadan fast, which culminates in Eid-el-Fitr, was a period for Muslims to reflect on the lessons of tolerance, love and sacrifice that the celebration typifies.

The Union, congratulated Muslims for the successful completion of 30 days of fasting in the Islamic Holy Month of Ramadan and prayed that the Almighty Allah would make Eid a great occasion for interaction, harmony, tolerance and happiness for all.

The APU implored the Muslims to continue to pray, work towards building a progressive nation anchored on progressive ideals and show compassion to one another, as taught by the Holy Prophet Mohammed (S.A.W), especially at these trying times.
